Diploma of Community Services

The Diploma of Community Services can assist you to develop the skills and understanding needed to act as a genuine agent of change in the community.

Throughout the course, students will understand developmental, social and cultural contexts, as well as learn the skills to support the social, psychological, welfare and protection needs of the community.

This qualification can put you on the path to working in the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in the managing, coordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities.

Training will also involve a minimum of 100 hours of vocational placement, which you can source with the assistance of vocational placement coordinators through our industry networks.

Course Cost & Funding

VET Student Loan available: $10,000

This is amount the government will loan you for this qualification under the VET Student Loan Scheme (more information below).

Student Scholarship available: $3,000

Student Contribution: $4,000

This is the amount remaining after a loan and scholarship has been approved for this qualification. 

Eligibility criteria apply.

Maximum course fee: $17,000

This training is delivered with the support of the VET Student Loan Scheme. A VET Student Loan is an Australian Government loan scheme that assists eligible students to pay part of their tuition fees for higher-level VET courses.
