Course Description
The Diploma of Building and Construction will provide you with a range of skills to effectively manage construction projects including the selection of contractors, overseeing work, quality control and liaising with the client.

This course meets the requirements for a range of builders licenses in most Australian states.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), also commonly referred to as Skills Assessment, offers you a simple and cost effective way to gain recognition for all the work related skills and knowledge that you have achieved.

Accreditation
This course is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).

Articulation
This program can provide graduates with up to one year’s credit towards a Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field at an Australian university.

Entry Requirements
Most students who enrol in this course are qualified tradespeople such as carpenters, bricklayers or electricians. This is not a requirement for enrolment, but experience or exposure to the building and construction industry is highly advantageous.
Assessment Methods
Students are required to demonstrate competency through various assessment items.
