Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows you to receive recognition and credit for the knowledge and skills that you already, no matter how and where you attained them. Accreditation
This course is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).

Articulation
Graduates can move on to the Advanced Diploma of Counselling and Communication or they may be eligible for credit recognition with a range of higher education providers.

Theories of CounsellingThis unit examines a range of counselling theories to assist in the development of a personal, credible, theoretical base for counselling practice
Community StudiesThe unit considers counselling within a broad social context. It is important for counsellors to be aware that clients are affected by current global national and local influences, social policies and resources
Grief and LossThis unit describes the knowledge and skills required to provide support for individuals who are experiencing loss, grief and bereavement
Working with GroupsThis unit describes the knowledge and skills required to participate in, establish and lead a range of informal and formal groups in a variety of settings
