Diploma of Counselling

The Diploma of Counselling can equip you with the skills to develop workplace strategies and resolve client issues.

You can learn to recognise the importance of a client-centred approach to helping others, and broaden your understanding of the theories that underpin the counselling process.

This qualification covers the use of communication, micro- counselling and interviewing skills and draws on varied counselling therapies to assist clients. At this level, the counsellor will be working in support roles in established agencies rather than in independent practice.
