Careers Australia, in partnership with Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ), is offering an introductory course to work safely at heights.
The program is built to ensure safe work on construction sites where the activity involves working above 1.5 metres from ground level and fall protection measures are required.
This course is partially funded by CSQ and aims to assist with the upskilling of existing workers in the Queensland building and construction industry. On completion, participants will be eligible to undertake work on sites in construction, renovation and
maintenance. This course can be tailored to your own work environment, providing practical scenarios and relevant learning outcomes.
Workplace delivery or on campus at any Careers Australia training facility in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba or Townsville.
CSQ Funding Eligibility
To be eligible for CSQ funding, participants must be an Existing Worker in the building and construction industry. You must also reside in Queensland or be permanently employed in Queensland.

Participation in the course requires full Personal Protective Equipment including steel cap boots, long pants, long sleeved shirt and hard hat.
This competency is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).
