Careers Australia, in partnership with Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ), is offering an introductory course to working in or around confined spaces.
This course is partially funded by CSQ and aims to assist with the upskilling of existing workers in the Queensland building and construction industry. On completion, each participant will be able to identify confined space hazards, work safely within confined spaces and operate various confined space safety equipment.
This course can be tailored to your own work environment, providing practical scenarios and relevant learning outcomes.
Workplace delivery or on campus at any Careers Australia training facility in Brisbane.
CSQ Funding Eligibility:
To be eligible for CSQ funding, participants must be an Existing Worker in the building and construction industry. You must also reside in Queensland or be permanently employed in Queensland.

RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
Participation in the course requires full Personal Protective Equipment including steel cap boots, long pants, long sleeved shirt and hard hat.
This competency is nationally recognised under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).
