Careers Australia and the Australian Government are proud to support skills development through the Productivity Places Program for enterprises and job seekers.
The Australian Government developed the Productivity Places Program (PPP) to effectively ease critical skills shortages across a range of industries and sectors.
Careers Australia has partnered with a range of organisations and industry bodies around the country to deliver talored training programs to develop the skills and knowledge of their staff. We have similarly run a number of independant full time programs for job seekers, delivering new staff to critical sectors such as Aged Care.
Programs are individually tailored through close consultation between Careers Australia and employers to ensure that they meet the specific requirements of industry and that work ready employees are delivered. Australian Government funding for programs is then assessed and allocated by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).

“I wanted to have a career change; I liked the class schedule, which is 2 ½ days a week. That meant I could spend time with my family and have a job for the rest of the week. I also like the environment for learning, being that it was an easier transition from being a mother to an adult student.”
“The Diploma of Business helped me gain the knowledge I needed to achieve my personal best and to be successful. I gained acceptance into the University of my choice thanks to Careers Australia.”
