Careers Australia and The Wesley Hospital to deliver a Diploma of Nursing program.

September 2009 | Careers Australia College of Healthcare has entered into an agreement with The Wesley Hospital to deliver a Diploma of Nursing program within the hospital.
Students who undertake The Wesley Hospital program will complete their theoretical and practical training, as well as their clinical placements onsite. Some of the elective units in the program will be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the healthcare facility which will enhance the graduate outcomes for the Diploma of Nursing students.
The Wesley Hospital views this program as an investment in their future, as they expect that many of the nurses will stay with the hospital once they graduate.
The Wesley Hospital is excited about the opportunities that this program presents and they have expressed their interest in growing this program into their other facilities in the future.
These programs represent an effective way of tackling the critical shortage of nurses that is challenging many Australian hospitals and health services. The partnership is also testament to the fact that Careers Australia is a quality provider of education with strong links to industry with the ability to deliver training in new, innovative and effective ways.

“I wanted to have a career change; I liked the class schedule, which is 2 ½ days a week. That meant I could spend time with my family and have a job for the rest of the week. I also like the environment for learning, being that it was an easier transition from being a mother to an adult student.”
“The Diploma of Business helped me gain the knowledge I needed to achieve my personal best and to be successful. I gained acceptance into the University of my choice thanks to Careers Australia.”
